"A symbolic irradiation permeates Vox Poetica in an eerie, suave score that relates to the purity of Art and Ballet. Developed by Matteo Stella Dance Arts in the Untitled New Work residency at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, shared with choreographers Karole Armitage and Richard Move, it conceptually approaches John Cage's Empty Words through the deconstruction of classical dance vocabulary, similar to Cagean semantic deconstruction, and the relationship between stillness and movement of bodies, traceable to the relationship between silence and sound.

The performance features Stella and Levaggi themselves on stage alongside a classical ballet dancer. Guest of the New York residency was Megan LeCrone, soloist with the New York City Ballet. In the Italian debut, Vittoria Valerio, soloist from Teatro alla Scala, will carry on the artistic dialogue. The piece unfolds over the dark, cinematic sounds of Nero Kane, an artist featured on theater, museum and historical stages in Los Angeles, Europe and the United Kingdom, and Frédéric Chopin's Funeral March".
